Characters
Scott – A young man who sees a therapist to deal with the recent deaths of his parents. He recently has been having a strange dream that may be the key to finding somebody to fill the hole in his heart.
Ellie – A young girl who slipped into a coma 7 years ago. She is still alive in her dreams but also her nightmares. She clings to a bird cage holding a small Red Bird as it is the only thing she believes can protect her.
Therapist – Scott’s therapist who helps him process his emotions and thoughts about his parent’s deaths.
Ellie’s Father – A man who loves his daughter but after already losing his wife he soon begins to doubt she will ever wake up.
The Nightmare – The pure embodiment of Loneliness. This creature torments Ellie as she wanders in her dream. It's only weakness is the presence of the Red Bird
